Vila Planalto is the oldest part of Brasilia where workers and engineers had been settled during the construction period of the new capital. The village had been supposed to be brought down after the inauguration of the city , but the families refused to move away.
The Walking Tour reflects a picture of more than 50 years of urban architecture of Brasilia, – a scale from still existing wooden houses to modern concrete buildings. You will live moments of day-to-day life of Brazilian village people which is complete different from the rest of the city.
The gastronomic scenery is amazing, counting with more than 40 restaurants and lanchonetes,and you will be shown some selected shops and services of general interest.
From the external street, along green areas, one has a magnificant view onto the Lago Paranoa and the Digital TV Tower.
Availability: any day (except Sunday) with prior notice of min. 1 week before date
Participation: closed groups of min. 4 – max. 6 persons
Duration: 2 hours from 10 – 12 a.m.

Remarks:
– The tour can also be booked by 1-3 persons; in this case, the minimum investment of
R$ 200 will be charged and divided among the participants.
– Single persons interested might get registered and be informed whenever a tour will take place with vacancies.
